Ms. Shuang Wang is a Ph.D. candidate in Health Outcomes working under Dr. Xuerong Wen in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, and also a Master student in the Department of Computer Science and Statistics at University of Rhode Island. Her current research is focused on comparative effectiveness and drug safety in pregnancy and children development, as well as the application of Bayesian statistics to pharmacoepidemiology.
In the past 2 years, she has conducted epidemiologic and methodological research using a variety of data sources, including administrative claims data, state Medicaid data, vital statistics, and simulation data.
